Individual Counselling
Clients come to see us for many reasons. Many come to talk about a particularly challenging issue or time in their life, others are struggling to adjust to change. Some are struggling to cope with someone else’s or their own behaviour. Others are grieving a loss, or multiple losses. Some don’t have anyone to talk to who would listen and understand what they’re going through.
Our clients generally come; to feel heard, for answers or strategies, for hope, to feel less alone, to heal past hurts, or for personal development. Most want to move forward in life. Sometimes it just helps to hear from an objective mental health professional that your experience is completely normal for what you are going through.
Some come for a single session, others come regularly for longer. The important thing is that you are in control of how often you attend, the number of sessions you have, and how much you share. Come as long as you find it useful, and our door is always open if you wish to return down the road.
